Leiko Barclay flew in confident circles, passing the Quaffle between the two other chasers and the Keeper, Ornella. She smiled at Ornella and flung the Quaffle at the chaser nearest her. The chaser caught it and quickly passed it to Ornella.
"I want to try the arrowhead formation," Leiko said. She had thought a strong, tight group of chasers could break anything, but her chasers were inept. She'd just have to train them.
As opponents, she had bewitched several pillows to hover in the air and block their path. She arranged the two other chasers on either side of her and told them that as soon as a pillow started their way to pass the Quaffle. She knew passing too much gave the opponents several more chances and had told the chasers previously to keep the Quaffle as long as possible, but she also figured confusion would work.
She rose in the center of the V-shaped formation, slightly ahead of the other two. Holding the Quaffle, she flew towards the line of pillows. The chaser to her left seemed to falter as one of the pillows zoomed in her direction. Leiko rose and saw the pillows twitch before chasing in her direction. She threw the Quaffle to the chaser on the right and soared ahead, towards the goals. The V-formation was breaking quickly. Leiko gritted her teeth in frustration as the Quaffle was passed to her and she was given a clear shot on goal.
