"No Fighting In The Great Hall" - Be Warned

Jie Knu had never felt better. He was looking forward to his match against Gryffindor in a couple of weeks, had found out their weaknesses and would use them to their advantage. He sat down across from Dominik, and was immediately joined by Thor. He glanced at the fifth year with some irritation.

"We got them," Jie hissed to Dominik. "There's no stopping us."

"Against who?" Thor asked immediately. Jie gritted his teeth and turned towards the younger student. Though he was younger, Thor was a good two or three inches taller than Jie.

"Against you," he said, resisting the urge to snap at him. He opened his mouth to speak again, but Thor cut in.

"You're talkin' about the game against Gryffindor," he said. Jie clenched his jaw, staring at the wall behind Dominik. A moment later, he pulled his wand and got to his feet so fast, that Thor was left with his mouth hanging open slightly. A moment later Thor was howling in pain as short tentacles started to grow from his face.

The Slytherin table erupted in laughter, and it was soon joined by the Ravenclaws. Hufflepuffs and Gryffindors stood up to see what was so amusing.

Sarina was sitting quietly, as always, next to Dominik. These days, it was rare they were apart, and so she heard most of the gossip shared between the Slytherins - Dominik was often in the thick of it. She kept her head down as they conversed, silently glancing up now and again to catch Jie's excited and annoyed expressions. The fifth year across the table from herself was tall, but immature it seemed, his butting in was irritating Jie badly she could see...
As Jie began his attack moment later, her mouth was left open in surprise. She had never really seen anyone loose their temper that way, And was shocked at Jie's use of the curse he had put on Thor. She nudge Dominik - "do something!" she exclaimed - what if the boy got badly hurt?

[Dominik Porter]

"We sure do." Dominik replied in a jeering way. Dominik looked at the 5th year talking to jie. HHe didn't say anything but looked like he wanted to smack him. He had sarinas hand in his hand where it always was these days during breakfast. Dominik saw jie pull out his wand "JIE NO. Your an idiot. You will lose the right to play in the game if you do it!" But he couldn't help himself laughing at thor once the spell hit.

Jie sat down quickly, watching Thor fumble for his wand. "You stupid boy. No hexing yourself, honestly," he said calmly. Thor had his wand out and was looking angrily at Jie. Slughorn suddenly appeared, panting slightly.

"Now, now boys!" Slughorn said. "What happened?"

"He tried hexing me but it didn't work," Jie said, pulling off a nearly perfect surprised and bewildered look. "Ask any of them." Sarina and Dominik nodded. Slughorn grabbed Thor by the arm.

"C'mon on foolish boy. Hospital wing for you," Slughorn said cheerfully. "No fighting, Knu, Porter." He nodded to a couple of Ravenclaws and marched Thor to the entrance hall. Kids were still cracking up.

"Bat Boogey Hex, never fails," Jie said calmly, turning back to his breakfast.

[Dominik Porter]

"If that had been anyone else, you would have been a gonner. We can't afford to lose you." Shaking his head pretending to be mad. He grabbed hold of sarinas hand again. "Are you okay?" He whispered to her.

[Inky]

She nodded to dominik - she was fine, a little shaken to be honest, she wasn't one to egg on a fight or condone one, her gentle nature (though a slytherin) diddn't allow it. "Thanks," she whispered to him, low enough that Jie couldn't hear. Sometimes she couldn't understand boys.

Jie smirked. "If it had been any other teacher, I would have been a goner." Slughorn's "Slug Club" had earned him favors, and Jie wasn't one to waste what others would give him happily enough. He rolled his eyes. "I think we'll go out and see who's practicing tonight."
