"Leave me alone," Jie hissed, shaking Ari off outside The Hog's Head. Finally alone, he sulked in and ordered himself a butterbeer. His gaze followed two wizards to the back of the bar, but he went to the opposite side and sat down, pulling out a rolled up copy of The Daily Prophet. He flicked it open, saw on the page talk about more deaths and disappearances. He opened to the second page and began to read about the newest people to turn up dead. He smirked.
Outside, he could hear Ari arguing with two men. Jie lowered the paper and looked out the grime-coated windows. The two men had Ari cornered against the building and were talking angrily. Jie got to his feet, lurching towards the door.
"Fellas, what's going on?" Jie asked as he pulled the door open.
